This year marks the first time we are selling tickets for the International Women’s Day Conference. I understand that the ticket price may be a concern for those of you still establishing your careers. To ensure you can still attend, I would like to offer a couple of options.

The content of the conference will be relevant to anyone, regardless of career path. Attendees will receive a toolkit to help identify when negative thinking arises, stop it in its tracks, and activate their sage brain. This sage brain is linked to creativity, problem-solving, and thinking outside the box. Research has shown that it strengthens resilience, enhances performance, improves productivity, and fosters better relationships—both professional and personal—while also promoting emotional agility, mental health, and overall happiness.

You may not know this, but the WLP is not funded by the state or CSUF; we rely entirely on sponsorships and donations. This year, I have worked hard to secure sponsorships for seminar lunches, conference speakers, and student costs for IWD. Unfortunately, this means I cannot provide free tickets. However, I propose the following options:

1. Check with your employer about reimbursement, as this conference is considered a full day of professional development, which they will likely benefit from.
2. If option one is not feasible, you can register using the student rate with your CWID. In return, I ask that you make a minimum donation of $25 during Titan Day of Giving on March 11, preferably during a matching time when your donation can be doubled by a corporate sponsor or WLP champion.

I hope these options will help you attend. It would be wonderful for all of you to experience this International Women’s Day!

This past Friday on February 6th 2026, the Women’s Leadership Program had the honor of hosting three successful and distinguished ladies whose insights led our How to Negotiate Salary seminar with curiosity and enthusiasm!

Huge thank you to Kira Bruno, Founder and CEO of FORTIS Resource Partners Inc., for expertly moderating an impactful panel and leading a meaningful discussion on job searching, interviewing, and salary negotiation.

In addition, we are extremely grateful to have learned from our amazing panelists - Shweta Mogha, Global Talent Acquisition Manager at Mercury Insurance and former Meta and Amazon, as well as Oksana Lukash, founder of People, Culture and You. Their insights had left our members feeling confident, prepared, and motivated in their career journeys!

Thank you our members for asking questions and making this seminar impactful!!🧡💙🤍
