When granted the Skip grant from Skip. Silly Little Genius 24 Hour Childcare will utilize the funds to enhance our dual language program. We will buy toys and educational materials that can better aide the children in their learning experience. We will provide new sensory play activities and supplies, new child size furniture, art and science material to enhance our Little Genius' learning environment. The funds can also help with operating expenses, quality improvement, marketing materials, and tablets and technology for the children's use including a new Desktop Computer for our Afterschool Program and some tablets. Thank you for this opportunity, our children deserve the best!!!

Have you heard of the "million word gap?" 😟

When I was teaching in the Kindergarten classroom, I would see little ones come through my door ready to soar, and little ones who came through struggling.

It was heartbreaking to me, because try as I might, it was very, very hard to play ‘catch up’ for those little ones.

This is exactly why I created Play into Kindergarten Readiness. Because it isn't hard to have our children set to soar. In fact, it is blissfully easy!
