Announcing - Spring 2024 Ground School!

This course is intended for all students who plan to take the FAA Private Pilot Exam as part of the pursuit of a Private Pilot License.

When: February 6th – April 11th, Tuesday & Thursday 6:00 – 8:30 PM.
Where: Fryeburg Academy Library Conference Room
Cost: $275 (course only) or $395 with publications
(Aviation Academy Membership is required. Academy membership fee is $100 for students 18 and under and $300 for others. Student Academy membership and tuition may be paid by your school. Check with them first.)

Join us for our Holiday Fly In Celebration, Friday Dec 22 from 11:30-2!
Fly-in or drive in, come celebrate the season with IZG. Exchange pleasantries and enjoy the company of fellow aviation enthusiasts in the terminal building. Lunch, desserts, hot cocoa, and holiday cheer. All are welcome!

The rain has stopped! Come on down to the Eastern Slope Regional Airport - it's our 3rd annual Open House and Fly In today from 10:00am-2:00pm! Grab some lunch and ice cream, bid on the over 20 silent auction items and check out all we've been up to this year at ESAvAc!

ONE WEEK FROM TODAY! RAIN OR SHINE

Our annual Open House Fundraiser and Fly In takes place next Saturday, August 26th, 2023 from 10:00am-2:00pm at beautiful Eastern Slope Regional Airport in Fryeburg, Maine. This year we have some fun additions, like food trucks and live music. Come help us to celebrate our third successful year and the arrival of our brand new aircraft - our new Vachon Ranger will be on display, and you can win a ride in it!

There will be a limited number Discovery Flights over the White Mountains (with donation, first come, first served and weather permitting), use of the Red Bird Flight Simulator, WMWV (93.5 FM) broadcasting live, ESAvAc merchandise for sale, and silent auction items including scenic flights, gift certificates to favorite places around the Valley, and homemade goods.

As a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization we rely on grants and donations to support our mission of offering focused, affordable education and flight training for local students and residents seeking career opportunities in the field of aviation. We hope that you can fly in and support us on August 26th! There will be special parking for Vintage Aircraft. (Plenty of parking for drive ins too!) For safety, service dogs only please.

More to celebrate! Tyler Bartick passed his check ride and is now our newest licensed Private Pilot! Tyler is a Senior at Fryeburg Academy and has been involved with the Academy since STEM Aviation Camp. Congratulations Tyler!!

We are getting closer! The food trucks and band are booked, silent auction items in hand, pilots are ready to fly - it's rain or shine, so let's hope for great weather for our annual Open House Fundraiser and Fly In on Saturday, August 26th, 2023 from 10:00am-2:00pm at beautiful Eastern Slope Regional Airport in Fryeburg, Maine. This year’s event will also include Discovery Flights over the White Mountains (not unlimited so stay tuned for details on signing up), use of the Red Bird Flight Simulator, brand new ESAvAc merchandise for sale and several activities for the kids. In addition, we will be offering morning coffee and donuts, yummy lunchtime food trucks and ice cream, live music, and WMWV (93.5 FM) broadcasting live on-site.
