Saco River Recreational Council A non profit organization whose mission is to protect, the upper Saco River through our cleanup, environmental education and law enforcement efforts.

The Saco River Recreational Council would like to assist you in planning a succesful trip along the Upper Saco, from Conway, NH to Hiram, Maine.

* PFD's or Life Vests required if floating down river on any vessel including blow up floats.
* Fire permits required for small campfires, free of charge at Swans Falls access.
*Always wash boats before moving them to protect our waters from invasive

s that are spreading throughout our water sheds.
*Buy firewood where you are camping. It is against the law to transport firewood. Please help us save our forests.
*Use our maps and mileage charts to plan your trips and call for any questions and visit our website for much more information.
