Kids think this turns crayons into MAGIC…

Parents love this because the colors look amazing in the sunlight.

Perfect for a fun craft day at home or in the classroom.

Here’s how to make rainbow suncatchers step by step.

Ingredients:

Crayons
Wax paper
Pencil sharpener
Cookie cutters
Ribbon or string
Iron
Towel

Simple Steps:

Step 1
Shave different colored crayons onto wax paper.

Step 2
Fold the wax paper over the crayon shavings.

Step 3
Ask an adult to gently iron over a towel until the colors melt.

Step 4
Cut out fun shapes and hang them in a sunny window.

Kids always get excited when the colors glow in the light.

I’m curious which shape kids would want to make first.

Step 2 Use the funnel to push cotton balls inside.

One of our favorite outdoor activities is taking playdough outside and using things we find in nature to make prints. Leaves, pine branches, pinecones, and small stones all leave beautiful textures in the dough.
It’s such a simple activity, but kids love exploring the different patterns and noticing details they might normally overlook in nature.

Paint wooden planks to create roads that can be rested on tyres or log stumps to create elevations.

Give it a go!
