Starting with the first bell on the first day of the 2026-2027 school year, students in Wicomico County Public Schools may not use personal electronic devices during the school day. This new “Bell to Bell, No Cell” rule supports a safe and effective learning environment, and meets the requirements of a new state law that will prohibit student cell phone use during school hours.

A Piece of Fruitland Primary School History! Before the current Fruitland Primary School building closes at the end of the upcoming school year, we're inviting former and current "TILE" artists and their families to take one last look at the tiles that have become a cherished part of the school's story.

Join us for the Fruitland Primary School Tile Open House on Tuesday, August 11, from 12-3 p.m. This will be the only planned opportunity to view the tiles in person before the building closes.

While the original tiles won't move to the new school, they have been digitally preserved and will continue to be part of Fruitland Primary's legacy in the new building.

We hope you'll stop by to celebrate the creativity, memories, and generations of students who helped make FPS special. See you on August 11th!
