As Teacher Appreciation Week unfolds, we find ourselves deeply reflective of the incredible impact our educators have on our lives and the futures of our children. We want to shine a bright spotlight on a truly extraordinary leader and teacher: Christy Williams, our beloved Director and Founder at Faith Christian Academy.
Christy’s story is a testament to unwavering dedication. For over two decades, she has poured her life into educating homeschool children, providing a nurturing, academically robust, and Christ-centered environment where they could flourish. What began as a calling became the foundation of Faith Christian Academy. In the classroom, Christy is a powerhouse. She masterfully navigates teaching both Middle School Science and all High School classes, guiding students through the complexities of biology, algebra, literature, and history.
When she’s not leading the academy, you can often find her embracing what she loves: the rolling hills and breathtaking views of the Great Smoky Mountains. She finds peace and renewal in nature, and some of her happiest days are spent enjoying the fun and magic of Dollywood, laughing and making memories with her family.
Her protective, fiercely loving, and nurturing spirit extends to every single student who walks through the doors of FCA. She treats her school community like family.
