Sometimes the biggest barrier to learning is something as simple as being hungry, cold, or without the basic necessities.

The FMHS Counseling Department has created an Amazon Wishlist to help us keep essential items on hand for students who may need a little extra support throughout the school year. ❤️

Every item purchased from this list goes directly to supporting students at FMHS. Whether it’s a snack to get them through the school day, hygiene products, school supplies, or another basic necessity, these small acts of kindness can make a BIG difference for a student.

Congratulations to our wonderful athletic trainer, Jen Kimbrow. Jen was recognized during tonight’s board meeting as the 2026 recipient of the Robert Ryan Educator award, being recognized as one of two trainers across the state to achieve this accomplishment. The board also recognized the FMHS Trap team and coaches who culminated their awesome season with a state championship this year. It’s great to be a Fruita Monument Wildcat.

WELCOME, WILDCATS!

Tomorrow is Welcome Wildcat Day! We’re so excited to welcome our incoming 9th graders to FMHS for a special half-day experience just for them.

Our newest Wildcats will get to meet their teachers, explore the building, and take a mini run-through of their schedules—all before the rest of our Wildcat family returns.

And don’t worry, everyone else… Wednesday is your turn!

All Learners return for a full day on Wednesday, August 12.

We can’t wait to have our halls full again. Here’s to a great year, Wildcats!

If you’re new to FMHS for the 2026–2027 school year (any grade level), join us for our New Student Scheduling Event on Monday, July 27, from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM in the North Commons.
Meet your school counselor, complete your course options form, ask questions, and get ready for a great start to the school year. Students are encouraged to attend, and families are welcome!

The first day of school will be here before we know it! 🎉

Online registration for the 2026–27 school year opens Tuesday, July 21st at 10:00am. Be sure to complete your student’s registration and mark your calendar for in-person registration if you plan to attend.

For detailed information about registration, schedules, fees, parking permits, transportation, athletics, and other important back-to-school updates, please check the email sent to all FMHS families.
