Monument Ridge Elementary School Monument Ridge Elementary School opened in August 2020. We are an elementary school serving families in the Fruita community.

Our vision is "Building a Community of Kind Learners." We believe in modeling kindness in our daily interactions.

Please help me welcome Ryan Engebretsen to MRE! Ryan will be teaching 5th grade! Ryan is a CMU grad and started his career in D51.
I have spent 27+ years as a dedicated teacher and coach who loves helping others reach their full potential. My family is the heart of my life (Megan, Tillerman, Lilyahna, Cherish, Wilson(son-in-law) and Boysa (grandson), providing constant support and inspiration in everything I do. Balancing family and mentoring in Alaska for the majority of my life has me excited for new adventures in Colorado.
