I'm truly excited to speak at the Frostburg University ADAPT Conference this week. Honoring the Vital Roles of Administrative Professionals
I am both thrilled and honored to be the first presenter at this year’s ADAPT Conference, where I will speak on the topic: ‘Speaking with Confidence.’ This opportunity is not just a milestone in my professional journey but also a heartfelt privilege, as it allows me to connect with individuals who form the backbone of their organizations.
Reflecting on my own career, I began my corporate journey as a receptionist—a role often underestimated but undeniably critical. I vividly recall the hustle of juggling responsibilities, being the first point of contact, or my company's goodwill ambassador and ensuring that everything ran smoothly. That role taught me the immense value of adaptability, resourcefulness, and how the smallest actions can make the biggest differences. It's a perspective that has stayed with me, guiding my professional evolution and reminding me of the importance of every single role within a company.
The attendees of the ADAPT Conference embody these principles of adaptability and excellence. They are the unsung heroes who ensure their organizations thrive, often wearing multiple hats and navigating complex challenges with grace.
