Yesterday we had a special visitor join our class! They read us a wonderful book about baking, and then everyone had the opportunity to decorate their own delicious cookie. It was a fun, hands-on activity that let the children use their creativity while learning about baking. We had a great time and loved our special visit!

Today we had a fun and educational trip to the Frostburg Fire Station! The children learned that firefighters are our friends and are always there to help keep us safe. They discovered that even though firefighters wear big gear and masks, they are not scary—they wear them to protect themselves while helping others.
