The Frostburg State University Summer Music Academy was created with the mission to promote classical music education all over the world. In the third world countries Western classical music education system is either very far behind or completely vacant. We hope that this festival will help the younger generation develop appreciation of culture through musical experiences. This festival will brin

g top artists from around the world to the Western Maryland region with the goal to inspire the local residents and develop interest in music program in the all types of educational systems. Without your support we can not make it happen. Your contribution of any amount will help our young generation experience this great opportunity! Summer Music Academy encourages individuals with experience playing string, woodwind, brass instruments and piano looking to develop their technique and musicality to be participate. All levels of musicians are welcome! Each participant will be placed into either a chamber or large ensemble setting.
