Frontenac School District World Class Education, Small Town Values Frontenac USD 249 is located in Southeast Kansas on the North side of Pittsburg.

The district enrollment is 900 students, and employs around 80 certified teachers. Frontenac USD 249 features an elementary, junior high, and high school.

Wednesday, FHS and FJH students heard from Chet Kuplen, Frontenac High School alumnus and CEO of Sports in Kansas, Think Before You Post, and Schools in Kansas. Chet spoke with students about the importance of thinking about what they post on social media. Chet's Think Before You Post program is such a great reminder that our social media accounts advertise us as people and what we post there matters more than we can imagine. Thank you, Chet!
