Festa Italiana lasts a few hours.
But what happens around Festa reaches far beyond one evening.
It starts in kitchens across our community, where families prepare recipes that have been passed down for generations. It starts with volunteers setting up, students lending a hand setting up chairs and tables, local businesses stepping up to support our schools, and countless people doing the little things that make the evening possible.
Then Festa begins, and Frontenac comes together.
Classmates reconnect. Alumni return to town. Old friends catch up. Kids run around while parents and grandparents visit. Multiple generations gather around the same tables, sharing food, stories and traditions.
And while Festa is a celebration of the community and heritage that make Frontenac special, its purpose remains at the heart of everything we do: supporting the students of Frontenac USD 249.
Every food ticket purchased, auction bid, sponsorship, donation and volunteer hour helps the Frontenac Education Foundation continue providing scholarships and educational opportunities for our students.
To our cooks, volunteers, students, sponsors, donors, businesses and everyone who joined us for Festa Italiana 2026 — thank you.
Festa has become more than an event.
It’s a tradition.
It’s a reunion.
It’s a celebration of where we came from and who we are.
And for many, it’s a reason to come home. Grazie!
