Starting a new school year takes a collective effort. We are deeply grateful to our dedicated staff for their preparation, First Responders for greeting our students, and our families for their warm encouragement and support. Seeing our community come together with such positivity sets an inspiring tone for the months ahead.

Construction of the new 9-hole Rhino Ridge Disc Golf Course at A.S. Rhodes Elementary School began in early June and is now complete. Mr. Seiders spent months planning and working on this project. This exciting project has been made possible through the support of dedicated community volunteers and local disc golf enthusiasts.

The course offers fun and accessible play for all ages, with holes ranging from 50 feet—perfect for beginners hoping to score their first ace—to a challenging 200-foot hole featuring an elevated tee.
Future enhancements include two additional tee locations on each hole to accommodate a variety of skill levels, permanent course signage, trash receptacles, an island feature on Hole 6, and decorative concrete rhinos placed throughout the course.
The Rhino Ridge Disc Golf Course will provide students, families, and community members with a unique outdoor recreational opportunity while encouraging physical activity, skill development, and enjoyment of the school grounds. We are grateful to everyone whose generosity and hard work have helped bring this project to life.
