Over 120 Goldwater Scholars participated in the 2025 Gulf Coast Undergraduate Research Symposium at Rice University. The symposium is designed to help emerging scientists sharpen one of the most vital skills in research: communication. Instead of poster sessions, GCURS invites undergraduates to step to the podium, explain their work, and field questions from faculty and graduate-student mentors.
