11th Annual Papanasam Sivam competitions held at Dallas.. eventful day and proud moment...
This is the first year our school participated and two of my students registered for the Sub junior and junior vocal competition.. and Am proud of both Master Vivaan Nathan and K*m Sahana Arun for grabbing 2nd price in their respective category....
Let the accolades keep coming and keep on making us proud..

Am happy to Announce that Student of the Month (January) goes to Sahana and Shrika(Michigan Sisters)
Sahana & Shrika are one amongst those budding artists who are well grounded in all the roots where the seeds have been sowed ... And have been showing promising progress in music and giving me sweet surprises every class I meet them on Skype plus their practice recording share. The efforts they put I seriously admire and get motivated to even practice and follow the same..
it's a joy having them in my school and I really enjoy teaching them and sharing what all knowledge I can to my conscience...
Being my Skype students , they have never given me any challenges infact gave me confidence that distance learning can also be made fun.... Thou I miss giving them treats and candies 😜post every class..
Congratulations Miss Sahana & Miss Shrika on your acheivement...
Hoping to see u keep on inspiring many others including me...

Miss Ish*ta , one amongst the 6-9year old batches took me for surprise... Shy, naughty and responsible girl of the class.. have always admired her sincere approach and she is the most obedient student of my class, when I started teaching her in person sessions from June 2022, I had a doubt wether she will sing aloud anytime with confidence ..was mainly working on that aspect... But looks at her chanting Kalabhairavashtakam so confidently... Kalabhairavashtakam is one of the toughest sloka to chant and these kiddos are already proving that with constant practice and consistence and a vigor to learn , anything can be acheived in life..

One proud Day ... Our school participated in the Sanskriti event conducted by Radhakrishna Temple... To be very frank this is the first time we as a school participated for any competitions... And so happy to share with you all that our School participated in Group Classical rendition ( this was a big group with a mixed bag... 7-14years, had to move the younger kids to the older kids batch so I had a small fear inside keeping the age in mind) but they aced it and Grabbed the First Prize beating all the barriers...
Sahana Arun got her first price for solo classical rendition in age group 7-10
Sahana Arun grabbed a honorable mention in Sloka recital too...
So Happy to start the new year in a vibrant note.. With Ambal and Periyava and babas thunai let their kataksham keep pouring in these upcoming generations and keep spreading our diversified culture all around the world..

Sahana and shrika , Have named them Michigan Sisters😅(this will be a trio soon as the younger sibling will join the gang soon) .. are one of the most sincere students of my school who set example of making distant learning possible .. what I really like about them is teach them something they will practice and immediately send me recordings and perfect it.. This one song is an example they just recently learnt it and they are kinda ready with the outline of a beautiful krithi in Ragam Natanarayani composed by Muthuswamy deeksh*tar..

Shreya Kaushik is an elementary 3rd grader at Frisco ISD... Look at this young Samaritan chanting Kalabhairavashtakam with so much eaze... Looking at these kids chant these hyms with so much eaze and confidence is quite surprising isnt it... What do u all have to say.. way to go Shreya really proud of u.. ♥️♥️
My POV, have always beleived let it be Rama namam or chanting slokam it can happen at any corner of the house or anywhere god is omnipresent .. god doesn't see what u r wearing ,are u fasting or have u taken bath... It's the child heart (we are gods child) and Bhakti what matters...

Sahana Arun is a kind and caring young lady. She always has a smile, and more recently, a ready laugh with the sense of humor (trying to imitate my singing style) am just coming to know❤️. Sahana is friendly, courteous and responsible. She works hard and takes her work seriously and I have always got all class practice recordings on time and when ever I haven't even expected too.. she has motivated me to be more sincere with my practice routine aswell. She has a positive attitude and is a pleasure to have in our school...
