Hi Parents! I've been working hard on some new projects!
Are you looking for ways to fill your kids' time during school breaks with educational, yet fun, activities? You don't need to spend hundreds on camps for your kids. Send them to camp AT HOME with our new kits designed for preschool to elementary school kids.
I've designed fun and educational curriculum kits centered around a theme. Each kit includes a week's worth of arts and crafts projects, science experiments, games, and much more that you can do at home on your own schedule, plus all the materials you will need.
I have three themes available to order for Spring Break:
-Star Wars
-My Little Pony
-The Alphabet
I'm really excited to offer these camp-at-home kits for less than half the cost of a traditional camp program! Plus, each kit includes enough materials for TWO kids.
Check out the attached flyer for more information and prices, and feel free to email or message me. I’ll be taking Spring Break orders until the last week of February. If you order early by February 7, you'll receive $10 off your order!
Since this is a totally new product for me (and a new process for putting together orders), I'm starting with just local orders (DFW area) for Spring Break. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to know more.

Which is right for your family: preschool or daycare?

As long as your child's teacher genuinely cares about your child and his development — and makes sure he's doing age-appropriate activities — you're fine.

When you're in the car (on the way to school or anywhere), try this fun game. Have your child guess an object or word you're thinking of that starts with a specific letter.
For example: I'm thinking of something that flies in the sky that starts with the letter A.
Answer: Airplane
Use words your child is familiar with. Pick a letter, and do the same letter for the whole car ride (unless it's a REALLY long ride). If your child has a school calendar that identifies a letter of the week, use that letter for extra practice!

This looks like a fun activity. To modify for younger kids, just have them point out places on a map that start with each letter of the alphabet.

Great article about teaching time and money concepts to young kids. Two very important concepts. We've been working a lot on money. My son earns 5 cents for doing various chores around the house. At the end of the day, we add up how many 5-cent chores he has done and he gets paid.
