Exciting News!!

The LPS Teel Elementary and LPS Majestic Gardens Elementary classroom with the MOST PTO Memberships will WIN a DONUT PARTY!! 🍩

How to enter - simply Join PTO Today! 📝🙌

The Annual Family Membership of $25 💵 enters ALL of your LPS Elementary Students into the fun. The competition closes on August 31, 2026. 🗓️⏰

Winners will be announced via email 📧 and the Winning Classroom's Donut Party will be on Friday, September 11th. 🍩🎉🥳

Teel Elementary will have ONE winner and Majestic Gardens Elementary will have ONE winner! 🏆

Dear Lion Families, 🦁

Tomorrow, Thursday, August 20, is an ELEMENTARY (Teel & Majestic Gardens) Free Dress Fundraiser Day! 👕🎉

If you purchased a Free Dress Year Pass, thank you! All proceeds support Lions Pride PTO-sponsored events and treats for LPS students and staff throughout the school year. 💙💛

Students may participate in one of two ways:

1. Free Dress Year Pass holders: Simply send your child to school in free dress. Teachers have the prepaid passholder list, so no additional payment is needed.

2. Non-pass holders: Send your child to school in free dress with $5 to give to their homeroom teacher upon arrival.

LPS Parent Whatsapp Communities -

Hello, LPS Parents!

As many of you already know, we have an LPS Parent Whatsapp Community. Each "Class of" has a page and many specific elementary teacher classes have pages within the community. These pages are not required and are completely voluntary, administered and run by parent volunteers. Very rarely is a teacher or our school administration involved in Whatsapp. That said, we still have expectations within these groups.

First, all member requests must be approved by the parent volunteers before joining. The group administrators might ask questions to verify you are a current LPS parent. Due to issues in the past with hacking and spam, we have found this process safest for our families. Please know we're not trying to control the group or be nosy; we simply want to keep this a safe space for our parents.

Second, please share the space, be respectful, and be positive. No bullying, no attacking, and no spamming will be allowed. Our parent admin volunteers reserve the right to delete any comments that violate these "rules."

Please click the link (provided in the email titled, "LPS Parent Whatsapp Communities" that lists all of our "Class of" groups) to request access and allow our parent volunteers time to review and accept the invitation. Elementary parents, once you have joined the community, browse the teacher groups and request to join those as well if you'd like.

💙🦁 A HUGE thank you to our incredible 7th grade volunteers! 🦁💛

We couldn’t have done Meet the Teacher without you!

From welcoming families at the PTO table to helping with uniform sales, our amazing student volunteers jumped in with smiles, positive attitudes, and servant hearts. Your willingness to give your time made the evening run so much more smoothly for our PTO team and our LPS families.

Seeing our students step up to serve their school community is what Leadership Prep is all about. Thank you for leading by example and showing what Lion Pride looks like!
