THN Little Elm kicked off their new group year at the splash pad today! 💦 The kids enjoyed popsicles, get-to-know-you games, and playing with new and familiar friends. We are so excited for all that’s ahead! 🥳

Last night THN Little Elm hosted their Parent Orientation! ✏️🍎 We greeted new and existing members and went over important things to help easily kick off our new group year.

A special thanks to Chick-fil-A Frisco Lakes for donating tea, cups, and stickers for our parents to enjoy at our event.

We have limited spots for both The Homeschool Network Little Elm and The Homeschool Network Van Alstyne chapters. The application link will be posted on all of our social media platforms and sent out to our newsletter subscribers at 10:00 a.m.

A few things to remember:

📌 Applications are received on a first-come, first-served method.
📌 If you know someone personally in the group, please make sure you put them as a “referral” on your application. Referrals will get priority.
📌 Your membership is only secured when you complete the application, background check, AND pay tuition in full.

Last night, we celebrated an incredible year together at our End-of-Year Celebration & Awards Ceremony! 🎉

Our students were recognized with fun “Kids’ Choice Superlative” awards and received a special gift, along with a free meal courtesy of Raising Cane's. 🤩

We also took time to honor our leadership team, committees, and volunteers for the countless hours they dedicate to making our community thrive. 🫶 Every mama in attendance received special recognition and flowers as a small token of appreciation. 💐 It was a wonderful evening spent celebrating the many people who work behind the scenes to bring our group together.

Families enjoyed refreshments, including cookie cake and chips, and we’re especially grateful to Raising Cane's for their generous donation of drinks.🥤

We were also fortunate to have fantastic raffle donations from School of Rock Prosper, Frisco RoughRiders, and the National Soccer Hall of Fame courtesy of STEAMFC. Thank you to our amazing community partners!

It was a wonderful way to close out the year. We’re so thankful for the many families who joined us to celebrate. Here’s to another year filled with friendship, learning, and unforgettable memories. 🥰

Today we met at the park for Art Day! 🎨 We used a free art lesson from Deep Space Sparkle to draw and paint Watercolor Flower Gardens. 🌷

They all turned out so beautiful and the kids (and even some of us adults 😉) had fun making the art!

Today we had our Field Day! 🏅 Because of the rainy weather, we held it indoors but the kids still had an absolute blast.

Bowmen Sports hosted our Field Day again this year and their team always does an amazing job! 🤩

We played tug-of-war, capture the flag, tag, kickball, relay races, and more. 🏃‍♂️ Our kids even won "place" ribbons to show off their achievements.

Afterward, the kids were treated to a snow cone from Kona Ice. 🍧 What a fun Field Day together!

Yesterday our group met for popsicles and water play at the splash pad! 💦

The kids played hard in the sun while the mamas got to catch up with one another. Such a fun day! 😎

This week our group met for a book club party! For the spring, we read “The Green Ember,” by S.D.Smith. 🐰

We gathered to discuss the book and share book club projects. ⚔️ Then we grabbed a cozy snack of sweet rolls with honey and peaches with maple syrup.

After our snack, the kids made stars with popsicle sticks and ribbon to then play “Starseek” in the field. 🎗️

We awarded all our readers with fun reading medals thanks to a donation from a sweet mom in our group. What a fun book club party!

Today we met at the park for our last Edible Science class of the year! 🧪

This time we learned all about solutions and solubility with rock candy. 🍭 Our kids did experiments to see if salt, sugar, and sand dissolve in water, and they used watercolors and salt to make rock candy art.

Of course, we had to try rock candy at the end. We’ve had such a fun year of tasty learning! 😋
