These are the moments I don’t want to forget. Ever. 🫶🏻

Hot take: I’m absolutely not good at decorating.

People come over and say, “Oh my gosh, you’re so good at decorating.”

I’m not.

I’m actually terrible at decorating. I just know what I love—immediately.

When I’m thrifting, garage sale-ing, estate sale-ing… there’s no debating. No “let me think about it.”
It’s either an instant yes or it doesn’t exist to me.

And the funny thing is—everything somehow “goes together.”
(Not really. But also… it does.)

Because I picked it.

The only things in my house that don’t fit?
Someone else picked those.

I don’t buy things because I need them.
I buy them because I love them.

And thrifting feels different… because there’s only one.
So it’s not even a decision—it’s a rescue mission.

Like… I’m saving it.
And yes, I absolutely believe it belongs with me.

At this point, I’m not decorating a house.
I’m building a real-life treasure box.

And every piece in it is there because I chose it instantly.

Tell me I’m not the only one who shops like this.

It’s Monday, I had back-to-back meetings all day, took my daughter to swim at 5 {like always}… and realized I hadn’t eaten a single thing. (Meg, hide your eyes. lol)

Meanwhile I couldn’t stop thinking about this Caesar dressing I saw this lady make on Instagram earlier 😅

So I go to the heeeeeb, grab everything, come home, don’t even put the groceries away, and immediately start making it like that was a rational decision at 6pm while starving.

This should not have gone well.

But then he tried it…

and I swear his reaction made my whole day.

This is 46. 😂

We don’t pop out with a life manual (or an expiration date). None of us know what we’re doing and none of us know how long we’re here to do it.

I listen to my heart and wake up everyday as if it were my last. I don’t allow my Negative Nancy take over my brain, and I treat everyone like neighbor and friend. I go for it, and trust y’all (my community) to show up!
