Some people grow up in a sport. Others become a living example of what that sport can build in a person.
Coach James is a dedicated student, athlete, and coach who has been putting in the work since he was just 8 years old. Day in and day out, he has continued to show up, train, learn, and push himself to become better.
Over the years, he has developed into an incredibly well-rounded athlete, putting in the work across wrestling, Jiu Jitsu, and Muay Thai. But what stands out even more than his skill is how far he has come and the person he has become along the way.
If Coach Ann is the loving heart of our gym, and Larry is the passion and soul, then James is the growth.
He has grown with us, just as we have grown with him. We have had the privilege of watching him evolve not only as an athlete, but as a coach, a leader, and a person. His journey has become part of our journey, and his growth is something we are incredibly proud to witness.
James represents what is possible when you truly commit yourself to something. He represents what can be built through hard work, consistency, discipline, and simply refusing to stop showing up.
His journey is a reminder that greatness doesn’t happen overnight. It’s built one day, one practice, one lesson, and one challenge at a time.
Coach James is a role model to his friends, his family, and especially to the next generation of athletes watching him. He leads by example and shows what happens when you trust the process and stay committed to it.
And the best part? We still haven’t seen how high his ceiling is.
Coach James, thank you for not only being an incredible athlete, but for choosing to share your knowledge, experience, and passion with all of us. We are so grateful to have you as a coach and genuinely grateful that you are part of our gym.
We’re proud of how far you’ve come, excited for where you’re going, and lucky to be able to watch the journey unfold.
Your future is only getting started.
