The Students and teachers had such a good time at the valentine's party today! Music and dancing, Treats, snacks, and always lots of laughter are the makings of a successful party.
Ms. Khawla's class did a bread tasting activity today. The kids loved trying different kinds of breads and came back for seconds, thirds, and even fourths! Their observations about the shape, color, and texture were priceless. One student noted that the tortilla bread was "flat so it is not solid" (utilizing what she learned about plane figures vs. solid shapes). Another child said the naan bread was the shape of a pear. We enjoyed reading the book, "Breads, Breads of the World", and then made a graph of their favorite breads.
Froggies children look so cute proudly holding their art work !
Blue Jays made brownie and pretzel spiders, wore bat, cat and ghost hats and sang a lovely Halloween song.
Ms. Karla's class, Blue Jays, made apple sauce today. It was a hands on learning activity. They used their five senses and even the mathematical concepts of measurements and fractions were utilized. The aroma of the cooked apple sauce floated in the hallways of the school. The children loved the yummy sauce.
Blue Jays class did apple tasting yesterday under the guidance of Ms. Karla. Later the children talked about their favorite kind of apple. This kind of activity encourages group discussion. Even the shy ones are encouraged to speak up and make a contribution.
It was so hard to see my kindergartners say good bye to me. We had them in our school since they were babies. We cared for them and loved them and now we had to let them go. Good luck my children. Wish you all the best.
We celebrated Fourth of July in a big way. We marched to the sound of patriotic music holding flags, streamers and wearing hats. Later the children were served special treat of cookies and watermelon.
Graduation program for the Pre-kindergarteners and the Kindergarteners.
All the students enjoyed celebrating Easter with an Egg Hunt and Lunch Party.

Learning activities included learning names of coins and their value, how to count money, how to add using coins, things we can buy with money, etc. Today, the kids had fun choosing and buying snack from the snack bar using and counting coins from their "wallets".

The Pandemic has shaken us all up. We are nervous about sending our children to school. We, as caregivers, are doing our best to keep the environment sanitized. We have installed infra red Thermal camera at the entrance to check the temperature of any one who enters our facility. We have UV sanitation trolley which we use in all the class rooms, in the evenings, to kill all the bacteria and viruses in the building. We hope and pray that these astringent measures will keep all of us safe and protected from any flu or Covid.

Halloween celebration this year was slightly different than previous years. We did it in school. The children went trick o' treating from one class room to the other. The parents made special effort in preparing Halloween themed fruit snacks.

Dear Parents,
We have been working with our five year old children, who are in their kindergarten year, by providing them a head start. Compared to public school traditional kindergarten we have smaller class room size, constant sanitizing and other tools to keep the children safe from the virus.
At CCCM we offer enriched lessons in math, reading, language, and a wide range of lessons in science, geography and other cultural areas. I can very confidently say that when our kindergartners enter first grade in public school they would have mastered all the skills and more.
Please call us at 214-705-8167 to get more info about our KG program.

Cypress Creek Montessori Frisco Story

We are located in Frisco on the east side of Preston. We draw children from all neighborhoods surrounding the Centennial Hospital of Frisco and areas around Curtsinger Elementary School, Gunstream Elementary School and Centennial High School. We have children coming from Mckinney, Eldorado and Custer.

We know you have deep rooted ideas and values regarding your child’s early education. There are also many choices. Therefore the decision becomes difficult. Being aware of what we value highly can help us make informed decisions- be it a complicated moral decision or choosing the right school for your child. The growth and development of your child depends on a strong foundation. Therefore it is important to understand the Montessori Method and to visit the schools to observe the environment and ask pertinent questions.

The corner stone behind a successful school is the teaching staff. All my teachers from infant to primary class have more than ten to twenty five years of experience in Montessori education. They are kind and nurturing. My existing parents can vouch for that.

The safety of your child is of great priority to us, and everything is done to ensure that each activity your child is engaged in is fully monitored. The school uses security entry code so that parents can easily and securely come and go but unauthorized individuals must ring the bell. Our school purchases only the highest quality materials, supplies and equipment. These are replaced periodically and new material is created by the teachers for language and math. The school is equipped with the latest state of art computers along with an expansive library.

Your visit to Cypress Creek Montessori School in Frisco will convince you that our school is the right choice for your child. You will find that our Montessori school focuses on the same values that you as a family find of utmost importance. These values will be discussed prior to enrolling your child- your most precious possession. We look forward to giving you a tour of Cypress Creek Montessori Frisco. Please call Ms. Faye at 972-390-0800 for an appointment.
