Welcome to the Nest Ms. Fort. She will be one of our Athletic Trainers this year! She graduated from TCU and enjoys working out, playing with her dog, Bonnie, reading, and watching football with her husband!

Welcome to the Nest Mr. Basye! He is very excited to work at LHS as our new attendance clerk! He’s also new to Texas & graduated from the University of Oklahoma. In his free time he loves to cook, read, and hang out with his cat Eris!

Welcome to the Nest Mr. Lucio! He will be one of the Orchestra Directors on campus and his favorite part of teaching orchestra is getting to help students develop a lifelong love for music. Mr. Lucio was raised in Austin, TX but has lived in the DFW area since attending The University of North Texas. He enjoys going to the gym, spending time with friends, going on walks and traveling to new places!!

Welcome to the Nest Coach Sands! He will be serving as our Assistant Tennis Coach, played tennis in college and has been a teacher/coach for 14 years. He is a huge Dallas Stars fan and loves spending time with his amazing wife, Taylor, and dog, Thunderbolt.

Welcome to the Nest Mrs. Hinojosa Santi as our new Director of Bands at Liberty High School!!! Mrs. Hinojosa has an extensive background in high school band and Cologuard and is starting her 24th year of teaching!! She is so happy to be teaching in the same community she resides in with her husband Alan, and stepsons, Anthony, and Andrew.

Welcome to the Nest Mr. Yowell! He will be teaching Technical Theatre at Liberty this year. It will be his 16th year teaching and he comes with a wealth of knowledge to share! In his spare time, he loves cooking, reading and spending time with his amazing wife and two beautiful daughters.
