Functionality is one of the Essential Skills for Artificial Intelligence (ESAI) because knowing the basics helps you become a smarter, more confident AI user. When you understand how AI learns from data, generates responses, and why it sometimes makes mistakes, you are better equipped to use it responsibly and recognize when something doesn’t look right.

Think of it like driving a car. You don’t need to build the engine, but understanding how it works helps you drive more safely and get the best performance.

The more you understand AI, the better you’ll know what to expect from it, when to trust it, and when to apply your own judgment.

The key is not to chase the newest or most popular AI tool. The key is choosing the right tool for the job.

As AI continues to evolve, new tools will appear almost every week. Developing the ability to compare, evaluate, and select the best AI technology for your specific needs will help you work more efficiently, solve problems faster, and get better results.

Remember, successful AI users are not defined by how many tools they know. They are defined by how well they choose and use the right ones.
