This fall, we have Peak students partaking in Peak's first-ever Archery Elective! Most days, we set up a mini range in the parking lot to practice but last Friday we had the opportunity to head to Summit County's archery range in Dillon.

It was super fun to take our target shooting skills to the next level and aim at 3-D objects. We aimed to hit a raccoon with antlers, a mountain lion, zombies, a Sasquatch, and a yeti! Many thanks to Laura Davies at 4-H for loaning the equipment and David Brown for sharing his time and expertise!

🍂 Fall Mountain Day at Peak! 🍂

From the lakes to the mountaintops, our students spent the day outside learning new skills, taking on challenges, and strengthening friendships along the way.

Here’s how our groups spent the day:

🥾Challenge Hike
🚵Mountain Biking
🐦Birding
🛶Standup Paddle boarding
🎣Fly Fishing
🥏Disc Golf

Learning, exploring, and connecting...all in one pretty incredible mountain classroom.
