GenZ is metropolitan. This week we will explore the largest cities in the world: New York City, Pars, Istanbul, Tokyo, Mexico City, Mumbai, and Montreal. Campers will learn what makes each city unique. They will be transported to each city on a virtual field trip. During their exploration of Paris, they will replicate the Eifel Tower, and when they learn about New York City, they will make a sculpture of the Statue of Liberty.

GenZ is mindful. This week focuses on relaxation. Campers will learn to use breathing techniques and yoga to relax and recharge. They will explore different trends of self-care, such as grounding. Campers will make a Cloud9 toolkit with bath bombs, salt scrubs, and handmade candles infused with essential oils. They will learn about the different types of tea and learn to brew a special recipe.

This month Kids 'R' Kids of Lawler Farm is working with Hope's Door Domestic Violence Shelter in collecting donations.

What is Hope's Door? Hope's Door mission is to offer intervention and prevention services to individuals and families affected by intimate partner and family violence and to provide education programs that enhance the community's capacity to respond.

Hope's Door opened in 1986 to address a growing need for services for victims of domestic violence in our community. It is still today the only organization in Collin County specializing in prevention and intervention services for domestic violence victims, children, and perpetrators. Hope's Door is located in Plano but serves individuals from all over North Texas.

Below is a list of items needed. There will be a donation box in the KRK lobby. We thank you for your generous donations!
