As we said goodbye to summer, our families gathered around for our Annual Castle Cook Out! Take a look inside our backyard as we grilled up a good time and got to know our families outside of the classroom!

The true Montessori structure and the security they provide for the children were what drew us to Castle Montessori of Frisco. Our daughter had never been to daycare or preschool before, and they helped her thrive despite her unstructured ways. She is extremely social, and her language skills are advanced for her age. More than anything, I can see their genuine concern for her, and as a somewhat paranoid parent, it was difficult to trust anyone other than family to teach and care for our little girl, but the teachers truly care. They're happy to see her, and she's happy to see them, so they take the time to teach her basic skills in a pleasant and participatory way. They participate in fun educational activities while also getting plenty of playtimes, so it's a good balance. They also bring in people to teach dancing, soccer, and music to the children! The facilities are spotless and well-lit. Overall, I am quite pleased with our decision to send our kid to this school!"

I would recommend possibly allowing teachers an iPad or an email to be able to communicate with parents without having a middle man. If I have a quick question about my child, I don't want to have to go through the director to have her ask the teacher and then get back to me."

We decided to keep our son at Castle for kindergarten and Mrs. Renu has been truly phenomenal. She finds the right approach for each kid and helps them excel where they need the most. Our daughter is with Mrs. Yessica in the primary classroom and she is also absolutely amazing. All the teachers we have interacted with have been nothing but wonderful and most have been with Castle for years. They have done a great job keeping everyone safe during pandemic. My kids also love the extracurricular programs that are offered here. We cannot recommend them enough!"

We chose this school for out son 5.5 years ago after touring 10 different private preschools. And for sure, when it was our daughter’s turn; we knew Castle would be the best choice. Nothing has changed there and we even got the same teacher that our son had! The turnover is very low, and the staff knows each child personally. If we had more kids, they would be in line for Castle!"

Even though her previous school was a wonderful place, she disliked it and refused to attend even after three months. But after enrolling her at Castle Montessori of Frisco, she stopped crying in the mornings and, after a month, she doesn't even kiss me goodbye in the mornings because she is so excited to go to her classroom. The staff here is fantastic, and they go out of their way to help my daughter, who speaks English as a second language, feel at ease. Everyone, thank you so much! You put a working mom's mind at ease by assuring her that her child is in a secure and enjoyable environment. The management staff is also very caring and attentive!"

Ms renu is very knowledgeable, patient, caring and has wonderful teaching techniques. We had to switch school couple month ago because we needed the public school transcripts but the learning experience at Castle with Ms. Renu was wonderful."

Last Friday our students geared up in their helmets, knee pads and elbow pads for our annual St. Jude's Trike-a-thon! Our families are amazing and helped us surpass our goal by donating to the organization. We are so proud and grateful for our families and students at Castle Montessori!

We dressed up this week for St. Patrick's Day! "For each petal on the shamrock, this brings a wish your way: good health, good luck, and happiness for today and every day." We hope everyone had a wonderful St. Patrick's Day!

Yesterday, March 2nd was Dr. Seuss’ birthday. Our students and teachers celebrated together by sharing their favorite Dr. Seuss books, crafts, and a fun dress up day! Here are some of our students and teachers that dressed up for the fun celebration!

After fun in the snow and the ice is now gone, our learning can continue on!

Our students truly enjoy learning the Montessori method. They are given such a sense of independence and have a true love of learning.

Childhood friendship is the most beautiful memory that can’t ever be replaced! Our students enjoyed Friendship Day SO MUCH!

SALVATION ARMY ANGEL TREE

The Salvation Army has been providing help to people for more than 40 years, and Castle Montessori Schools partnered with The Salvation Army to Rescue Christmas in 2020 by adopting 200 Angels. Recognizing that every child deserves to feel the joy of Christmas, Castle Montessori Schools along with the help of our generous parents and staff are able to provide new clothing and toys to more than 200 children in need this year. The gifts were loaded up by our staff onto a Salvation Army truck this morning, Monday, December 7th, 2020 and will be distributed to the children by Christmas Morning.
