Due to inclement weather and poor road conditions, Castle Montessori of Frisco has decided to close school today, January 9th.

Castle Montessori of Frisco will have a delayed opening on Thursday, January 9th, due to weather conditions. The school will open at 10:00 AM, weather permitting.

Quick reminder that we are running our Coat and Blanket Drive in school until Wednesday, January 8th. All donations will be distributed by a local church to the homeless in Dallas area on January 10th.

We are collecting coats and blankets that are either new or gently used.

The donation box is situated in the lobby near the couch.

Thank you in advance to all who choose to participate in our cause.

Hello Castle Fam!

Here is a quick reminder for our upcoming holiday closures next week.

Book Exchange and Class Snack Party!

Tomorrow, the children will be doing a book exchange and snack party in their classrooms! Please remember to send a wrapped book addressed to "A Friend" from "Your Child".

The snack party is scheduled from 2:30pm to 3:00pm. Please allow some time for your child to finish eating their snacks before picking up!

The week of the Winter Recital has finally arrived! We cannot wait to see the fruit of the children's labor. Our gym and classrooms have been filled with festive holiday songs as the children practice their performance in preparation for the big day!

Please remember to look at the visual guide posted on our vestibule window as well as outside our classrooms to know what to send your child in! Just a reminder that we would like all the children to be back in school at 5:30pm to get them ready for the performance.

Sound Games are wonderful to play with your child while in the car. I Spy games encourage them to look at the surroundings and identifying objects that begin with a specific sound. In the Montessori classroom, this is used as a way to gauge if a child has indeed grasped the concept of the sounds of the letters they are learning in class.

Building Vocabulary is fundamental in our Primary Classrooms. Perks of being in the Bilingual Class is that they get to learn the vocabulary in Spanish as well!
