All of our students at CGMA are working hard learning from each other. Our younger children receive guidance from older children. Our older students, meanwhile, use their leadership skills as they share their knowledge. Children play an active role in their own education as they realize the empowerment of learning.

Movement is very important for children's development. We are delighted to observe our children immerse themselves in activities of movement such as climbing up and down that aides their process of learning, exploration and discovery. At CGMA, we respect the children's need to move. Developing control of movements, balance and whole-body and hand-eye coordination are all essential in supporting healthy growth and development. Children learn to direct their actions in increasingly refined and delicate movements, the more control they gain the more they are able to bring purpose and intentionality to experiences as they explore their physical and abstract worlds.

Teachers and administrators at Children's Garden Montessori Academy attended a day long Professional Development training on Saturday and took a deep dive in to Neurological perspectives of children's behavior, Food preparation post COVID in practical life curriculum and assisting children with Toilet Learning in the Montessori way. Teachers discussed the school's mission statement and implementing our goals in the new school year. All our new staff on board were welcomed by veteran teachers, had school and parent policy orientations as we celebrated our team's achievements! CGMA is blessed to have talented and passionate teachers serving our families and children.
