Congrats to our bassoon teacher Mr. Meaux!
The Lone Star Wind Orchestra is excited to announce the appointment of bassoon/contrabassoon player Alex Meaux to the active roster. Welcome, Alex!
Alex Meaux is a graduate of Bowling Green State Univeristy and Stephen F. Austin State University. He has performed at the International Double Reed Society and teaches in the DFW metroplex.
A fun fact from Alex, “In my spare time I love to bake. I make anything from cakes, to mini tarts, to croissants. Whenever I can, I love to make fun new desserts and share them with friends!”
Be sure to come support Alex and the rest of the Lone Star Wind Orchestra for the first concert of the new year on Sunday, January 28th, 3pm, at Moody Performance Hall in Dallas.
