Happy birthday, Dr. Maria Montessori! 🎂💙

Today, we celebrate Maria Montessori and the ideas that continue to shape our classrooms more than a century later. Her belief that children are capable, curious individuals changed the way the world thinks about education.

Our community celebrated her life and legacy through school assemblies, tea parties, and classroom celebrations. A fitting way to commemorate the woman behind the work we are proud to carry forward every day.

You may be familiar with the Montessori philosophy, but have you ever wondered what makes a Montessori education different from a traditional school experience?

Montessori classrooms are intentionally designed to give students the freedom to move, choose their work, and engage with hands-on materials that support deeper understanding.

This approach allows students to take ownership of their learning. Instead of waiting for the next instruction or memorizing answers to pass a test, students learn how to think, make connections, solve problems, and discover what they are capable of.
