Collin College and Texas A&M University-Commerce have partnered to bring university classes to the fast-growing city of Frisco at Collin’s Preston Ridge Campus.

Campus will be closed Monday, September 5th in observance of Labor Day. Campus will re-open on Tuesday, September 6th.

Hi Lions! When you are on campus you can use your phone and laptop to access your classes in your MyLeo portal by logging in to the Wi-Fi. For information about how to connect to Wi-Fi please refer to your support services email or come by the Administrative Office. 🦁

Are you taking courses at A&M University-Commerce at Frisco? Since you are at an off-site location, you are not required to travel to Commerce for orientation. Contact us to receive the orientation process for programs offered at this off-site location.

Due to the dangerous road conditions anticipated for later today, the Frisco site will be closed effective at 5PM. We will continue to update you regarding campus closure for the remainder of the week.

THURSDAY CLOSURE: Your safety is our top priority. Due to the dangerous road conditions anticipated for later today and tomorrow by the accumulation of ice and snow, all classes on the main Texas A&M University-Commerce campus and the Dallas site are canceled for Wednesday evening (effective at 5 PM) and the University will be closed through Thursday, February 3. All daily business operations (excluding essential services) will be closed, and academic activities are canceled, including online and in-person classes.

The other off-site locations will adhere to the decision of their host institution or local school district.

Please check your email or any of the university’s official social media platforms for updates on weather-related changes to university operations for Friday. In addition, please download the free Lion Safe app for important safety updates sent directly to your mobile device.

Faculty will provide direct instructions to students who miss classes due to the closure, as needed.
