Foreclosure headlines may be raising eyebrows, but here’s the bigger picture to put your mind at ease. While foreclosure filings have increased slightly, there’s no reason to worry. That slight uptick was expected as the foreclosure moratorium ended. Most importantly, we’re nowhere near the volume we saw during the housing crash, so there isn’t a flood of foreclosures coming.
