Becoming a new parent is a delicate time of transition. Having an overnight postpartum doula will give you the support that you need to help you recover physically and emotionally — allowing you to foster an even stronger bond between you and your baby. It would be an honor to help you navigate this new family dynamic by caring for your little one overnight. Here are just some of the services that I will provide:

Newborn Care
While you, the parent, restfully sleep I will take care of your baby through out the night. I can bring the baby to you for nursing or prepare a bottle and feed the baby. I will burp, change diapers, and sooth the baby between feeding sessions. I will also provide you a record of your baby's night.

For the Parents
I will bring the baby to you for nursing or feeding session. As a certified lactation educator, I can provide tips on breastfeeding. Similarly, I bring clean pump parts for each pumping session and will collect milk for use or proper storage.

​A light snack will be prepared for the breast/chestfeeding or pumping parent. I am also available to answer questions and provide helpful resources during these nights and for correspondence between visits.

For Your Household
If a laundry facility is available in your home I will wash and fold the baby's laundry. I will also wash bottles and pump parts. I'll make sure that baby's play area and changing station are ready for next day's activities.
