A high school student does not need to choose one career for the rest of their life.

But they should start exploring possible directions — because even a little clarity can make high school feel more purposeful.

Try this simple exercise with your child:

✏️ Write down three subjects they enjoy.
⭐ Write down three things they are naturally good at.
🎯 Choose two or three possible career areas.
🔎 Research college programs connected to those areas.

The goal is not to make a final decision.

We are afraid we may be missing something important and realize it too late. How do we know if our child is truly on track for college?
