We’re so sorry it’s been a while, but we’ve been busy! In the last 4 years, our students have won awards, traveled, worked hard to get into some very hard schools all over the country (and now GHD officially has a 100% acceptance rate!!! 🤩). And sure, we did just use this whole caption to humble brag, but we’re back at it for year ⭐️5️⃣⭐️. GET EXCITED!

And hurry- there’s still time to squeeze some summer learning and reading in before it’s too late. Schools start opening next week here in DFW. We’re ready! Are you?

We found this sweet boy this morning in the Sherman/Whitesboro, TX area 11/17/22. He was very skinny, hungry, and didn’t have tags or a chip. He was so extremely sweet and happy to be found by anyone, and we are glad we did! We delivered him to Sherman Animal Services on Ida Rd. They believe he is a Great Dane/lab mix, around 5 years old, and possibly the goodest boy this side of DFW.

If this he isn’t claimed at Sherman Animal Services within the next 5 days, he will be up for adoption. He is listed as Pepé, after we realized he may have also gotten sprayed by a skunk on his adventures. He deserves a good home, is so sweet, happy and loving. Ms. Brit and our CDO, Brody, will be checking in on him periodically and will provide updates if we can.

This week the LawSquad decided they were starting their year off with tons of color and creativity! We painted sea and space pictures with fun stickers to match. It was an artsy blast for the whole family, despite Milli’s most serious artist pose. 🤪🧑🏾‍🎨

This week, Ms. Brit and new Good Human and homeschool 1st grader Emma had a wonderful week and celebrated by having a unicorn tea party and discussing their most recent reads. Emma learned a great lesson of friendship in the book Spider & Fox. Ms. Brit just finished the story of a strong, young woman in Dominicana.
