The Frisco community has a rich history of people dedicating years of their lives in service to the community. The campus honors not only the veterans of our U.S. armed forces, but also all of the police officers, firefighters and other first responders who serve. We’re excited to welcome Ms. Granitz to the Warrior family as our Agriculture Teacher! 🌾🐄

A graduate of Tarleton State University, Ms. Granitz earned her degree in 2025 and is excited to return to Frisco ISD, where she previously attended as a student . She looks forward to inspiring students the same way her Frisco teachers inspired her.

Outside of school, Ms. Granitz enjoys spending time with her dogs 🐶, playing mahjong 🀄, and traveling the world ✈️🌎.

Mr. Moore is passionate about helping students grow as readers, writers, and critical thinkers while creating a positive and engaging classroom environment. He is looking forward to meeting his students, becoming part of the Memorial community, and kicking off a great year!

We’re excited to welcome Ms. Marsh to the Warrior family as one of our Social Studies Teachers! 🌎📚 She will be teaching World Geography and AP Human Geography this year.

A graduate of the University of Arkansas, Ms. Marsh is entering her third year teaching in Frisco ISD and her first year at Memorial High School. She’s excited to join the Warrior family and get to know our students and community!

We’re excited to welcome Coach Karl to the Warrior family as a U.S. History Teacher and member of our Football 🏈 and Basketball 🏀 coaching staff!

Coach Karl graduated from Oklahoma State University in the fall of 2025 and is beginning his first year in education right here at Memorial. He is excited to begin his teaching and coaching career as a Warrior and make an impact both in the classroom and through athletics.

We’re excited to welcome Coach Anthony King to the Memorial Warrior family as one of our English Teachers! 📚 He’ll also be joining our coaching staff, working with Warrior Football 🏈 and Wrestling 🤼.

Coach King graduated from the University of North Texas in 2014 with a degree in English Literature and brings 11 years of teaching and coaching experience to Memorial. He is passionate about helping students succeed both in the classroom and in athletics and is excited to make a positive impact on the Warrior community!

🖤💛 We wrapped up an incredible week with our New Warriors on Thursday!

Our new teachers teamed up with Memorial’s Instructional Coaches to dig into standards-based grading, assessment plans, and curriculum—building a strong foundation for the year ahead.

Then, Mr. Lee put their learning to the test with a fun game of Headbands, reviewing important information from throughout the week! 🎉

🖤💛 🖤💛 Our New Warriors were back at it on Wednesday! The focus was all about learning, collaboration, and connection for our New Warriors!

Our new teachers rotated through stations with Memorial administrators to learn more about the systems, processes, and resources that will support them throughout the year.

They also collaborated with our Librarian and Digital Learning Coach to explore digital tools and resources to support teaching and learning. 💻✨

We loved seeing the conversations and connections happening throughout the day. We’re so excited to have this group at Memorial! 🖤💛
