Today, we attended the awards assembly at Friona High School to honor senior Evelyn Hernandez, a distinguished Empire Academy Graduate who has also secured a Texas Cosmetology License. Evelyn is a trailblazer at Empire Academy and Friona High School, being the First to attain a Cosmetology License before completing high school. We are delighted to celebrate her outstanding achievement.

Congratulations to Joel and Tara 💈! Empire Academy is proud to celebrate the completion of their Texas Class A Barber License Requirements. Originally from Clovis, NM, these students will be able to obtain a New Mexico Barber license upon receiving their Texas license, effectively making them dual-state licensed. We have thoroughly enjoyed having them in class and look forward to seeing their future accomplishments. Thank you, Joel and Tara, for choosing Empire Academy.

We took a Fun lil' Field Trip today to the Friona Public Library. This week is National Library Week. The FPL has Fun events scheduled for each day of the week. Today was Coloring Day. They had coloring pages of all kinds a variety of colors, markers and color pencils, and did I say Snacks. Tomorrow is Playdough Day! At Empire we lead by example by encouraging our students to participate and support the communities they live in. It's especially important once they are Licensed Professionals!
