Cold and flu season is upon us! As germs begin making their rounds, we want to remind our families about a convenient healthcare resource available through Grayson County Public Schools.

Jane Sage, NP, is available during the school day at the Grayson CATE Center (Vo-Tech) to see students who are feeling sick. Your child’s school nurse can help schedule an appointment in person or by teleconference.

Students can be evaluated and, when appropriate, receive a diagnosis and prescription—all without leaving school.

We hope this service provides our families with a convenient option when your child isn’t feeling their best and helps make those unexpected sick days a little easier!

Car Tag Update:

Afternoon pickup is the only time car rider tags need to be displayed, ideally on your rearview mirror.

If you need additional car tags, please let your child’s teacher know or contact the office. We are currently limiting car tags to 2–3 per household due to limited supply. Additional tags are available for purchase in the office for $5 each.

We are still working out a few kinks with our new car tag system. Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation as we work to make afternoon dismissal as safe and efficient as possible!
