➡️ Dressing (changing clothes, zipping coats, and fastening shoes)

Do you know the history behind this important day?

On June 19th, 1865, Union troops arrived in Galveston Bay, Texas, and announced that all enslaved people were free by executive decree. This day became known as “Juneteenth Independence Day,” “Freedom Day,” or “Emancipation Day.” A century and a half later, Americans across the country continue to celebrate Juneteenth, which is now an official holiday!
