Fourth & Final part of this series:
Each year, FMBC is able to award $750 scholarships to 20 of our senior student athletes (10 boys & 10 girls) for a total of $15,000 in scholarship funds. This is an incredible recognition of the hard work of all of our student athletes and a testament to the community support these athletes have as these scholarships are only possible because of the those that purchase FMBC Sponsorships. On Monday the FMBC Executive Board hosted an end of year lunch of Gringo's for the incredible coaches of Friendswood High School Athletics. We host this annual lunch as a token of appreciation from all of the booster reps and our athletes for the hard work our coaches put in throughout the year to help our athletes succeed.

At our last Booster Club meeting for the year, we were able to recognize the incredible work of our outgoing FMBC President Ava Vick Resnick & FMBC Treasurer Tracey Finch. Both ladies have worked tirelessly to serve all our Friendswood Athletes, and we are deeply appreciative of their leadership.

We were also pleased to present a check to Friendswood High School Athletics for $20,000 to help support purchases for our teams. These funds help purchase long jump covers, soccer jug machines, a water cow, a water polo net, and an additional hamstring machine for the weightroom. Our aim with these funds is to help meet the financial needs of athletics to ensure that all sports have the equipment they need to succeed.

We are only able to support our Athletic department with gifts like this because of the dedicated work of all of our Booster reps and the financial support of our amazing local community. We thank everyone for coming together to support our athletes!
