Our Wacky Wednesday Wraps Up with Dana Phan!!!
Dana is a member of the Clear Brook Color Guard. She spun all color guard equipment and danced, participating in all four years of marching band and winter guard season.
Dana’s favorite marching band show was “The Inn Between” because of the cool and complex choreography and the people she spun around with. This season was where she met and grew closer with her color guard friends. Her favorite band memory was going to state that season and spending time with all her friends. Dana’s favorite section tradition is the prayer circle before each performance where everyone gathers together holding hands and believing we will have a good run. She was mostly influenced by her friends and all the coaches she had, with valuable knowledge she can take with her everywhere.
Dana’s advice to the freshman is to cherish all the memories and the time they have with everyone. In school, Dana is deeply involved with a club called CORES with an outreach for STEM. Outside of band, Dana is a youth leader actively involved in her faith volunteering.
Dana will graduate Summa Cum Laude and will attend the University of Houston to major in psychology, hoping to pursue a career in mental health. Congratulations Dana!
