🌟 Celebration of Excellence 🌟

Tonight, the Friendswood ISD Board of Trustees proudly recognized an outstanding group of students whose achievements have earned recognition at the state and national levels.

🏃‍♀️ FHS track athlete Leah Bull capped off an exceptional season by qualifying for Regionals in three events and earning a Top 10 finish in Texas in the triple jump at the UIL State Track & Field Championships.

🎾 Friendswood High School Tennis advanced three doubles teams to the UIL State Tournament, showcasing the talent, dedication, and perseverance that define Mustang athletics.

🏆 Friendswood Junior High Cadets completed an undefeated season and captured the TCGC East Cadet State Championship, while Friendswood High School Winter Guard earned three WGI Regional Championships and finished 9th in the Nation at the WGI World Championships.

While students are enjoying summer break, Friendswood ISD's elementary educators are still hitting the books and sharpening their skills. This week at Westwood Elementary hosted teachers from our elementary campuses to lead and learn from one another through professional development.

Do you have a child who is interested in babysitting over the summer? 🍼👶There is still time to sign up for the SafeSitter class we are hosting THIS THURSDAY, June 4, 2026.

This class is recommended for children 12 and older who would like to learn life saving skills and how to handle emergency situations pertaining to caring for young children.
