What a fun day! We investigated apples, used them to build rainbows and towers, created Fall scented play doh, made our own lunch and discovered the joy of Pumpkin Fluff and so much more!

We all love supporting our local teachers! Thank you so much to everyone that came out to support Parents For Public Education and the work they do helping support local teachers!!

Due to Tropical Storm Edouard likely strengthening in a hurricane and the path slightly shifting our way, we have made the decision to follow CCISD and close early. We will be closing at 12:00 pm today.
Please know we do not make these decisions lightly but have to keep the safety of all in mind. Stay safe!

🌿 Welcome to the FLA Family, Ms. Iman! 🌿

We are so excited to welcome Ms. Iman Townsend to the Friendswood Learning Academy team! 💗

Childcare has always been a part of Ms. Iman’s world—she grew up in the industry and has developed a genuine love for creating spaces where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.

Ms. Iman is excited to bring her experience, energy, and heart to FLA, and we can’t wait for our children and families to get to know her!

Please help us give Ms. Iman a BIG FLA welcome! 🌱

Welcome to the family, Ms. Iman! We’re so happy you’re here.

Today, our FLA team traded their teacher attire for a little extra sparkle, big hair, and plenty of Dolly-inspired style! 💕✨

We are so honored to celebrate the one and only Dolly Parton - a true icon whose kindness, generosity, confidence, and love of learning have touched generations. The world is brighter because of her legacy.

At Friendswood Learning Academy, we believe you should dream big, lead with kindness, and never be afraid to add a little sparkle along the way. Our staff understood the assignment! 🦋

Little hands. Growing minds. 🌱

At Friendswood Learning Academy, learning isn’t something children simply watch or listen to—it’s something they touch, explore, create, and experience.

Today, our learners practiced letter recognition through a hands-on sensory activity, strengthening early literacy skills while building fine-motor coordination, independence, and confidence.

Because childhood should be filled with opportunities to wonder, discover, and grow.
