The Bay Area Alliance Annual Meeting was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the power of community partnership and recognize those making a meaningful impact in Friendswood and beyond.
We were proud to honor Steve Passons with Be Someone Sports and Friendswood Police Department for their dedication to students, families, and the Friendswood community. From providing extracurricular opportunities and supporting families in need, to their commitment to safely disposing of unused and expired medications through Medication Take Back initiatives, both organizations continue to go above and beyond in service to others.
Steve Passons was recognized as a Community Gem, and the Friendswood Police Department was honored as a Community Champion — both truly exemplifying what strong community partnership looks like.
We can’t thank each of you enough for the work you do to make our community stronger, safer, and more connected!

Community impact starts with partners who care—and we’re proud to recognize Jacob White Construction as a Refined Sponsor from our Bags & Bottles BINGO event benefiting FISDCares.
Your support goes far beyond the event itself. It helps open doors, provide essential resources, and ensure Friendswood ISD students and families have the support they need when it matters most.
We’re honored to have you as part of this work. Thank you for helping move our mission forward!
