Family Stay and Play is *hopefully* happening this Tuesday! This should be such a fun event for our community BUT we cannot have inflatables running without adult supervision. Our students (and their families!) are so excited for a night full of bouncing, playing, and making memories in the bounce houses! 🏰✨

But here’s the important part — we can’t safely run the bounce houses without enough volunteers to help monitor them.

👀 We need volunteers to:
• Supervise bounce house activity
• Help keep things safe and fair for all kids
• Be a friendly adult presence so everyone can enjoy the fun!

And we truly mean it when we say this… if we do not have enough volunteers, we will have to close the bounce houses. 😔

We really, really don’t want that to happen — the kids LOVE this part of the event!

If you are able to help, even for a short shift, it would make a HUGE difference. We will be so grateful for every single person who steps in to support.

☀️🎉 FUN IN THE SUN DAY IS ALMOST HERE! 🎉☀️

One of the MOST exciting days of the school year is coming up — bounce houses, freezies, outdoor games, water fun, and even the chance for students to DUNK THEIR TEACHERS! 💦😆

To make all this magic happen, we need an amazing team of volunteers! This event takes LOTS of helping hands to keep the fun running smoothly and safely for all our students.

🚨 Important Reminder: This is a student-only event, so spectators are not permitted. But volunteering is the perfect way to be part of the fun!

Kinder: 1:20-2:20pm
1st: 11-12pm
2nd: 10-11am
3rd: 12-1pm
4th: 3:20-4:20pm

🎓 We will be helping the Kindergarten families celebrate their graduates on Thursday, June 4th, by serving popsicles after their ceremonies. Mileage club wrapped up last week with giving out our final toe tokens and presenting trophies to the top class in each grade!
The top classes that earned a trophy and a freezie party are:
Kindergarten: Korbel
1st grade: Baloy
2nd grade: Verushka
3rd grade: Rodriguez
4th grade: Ramirez

All together, Woodcrest ran 6,270 miles! There were even four 3rd graders that ran more than 60 miles each!! Great job to all of the amazing runners! 🎉
