The day is here...the last day of Caring Kids Home Childcare! It's hard to put into words all of the feelings that are going through my head and heart.
Owning my own childcare has literally been a dream since I was a little girl. Years ago, I actually found a game, from when I was a child, that I had wrote "my dream is to have my own daycare".
With the utmost support of my amazing husband, in 2011, I started the journey of becoming a home childcare owner/provider by preparing my home for all of the littles that were to join the Caring Kids family. In January 2012, Caring Kids was officially open for business!
The years have brought 31 children and their families into our home to become a part of our extended family! We have been through so much in the story of Caring Kids; little milestones and big milestones, baby year, toddler years, preschool years, school years, and teen years and for the love of it all potty training years 😂.
For me it has never been just a business, it was my hearts work, a life changing, hearts work. Working 60-70 hrs. a week year after year is not for the weak for sure, but I wouldn't trade those hrs. for the world because I got to join in the journey of helping raise some amazing children through their first years. To help them on the beginning of their life story, alongside their parents, is an honor and blessing like no other in this world!
I'm not sure what my next adventure will be or where my journey will take me now, but I know my heart will always be filled with my Caring Kids years and for that I am forever thankful!
~The biggest THANK YOU (and thank you isn't enough) goes out to my husband, Ralph, without him my dream and business would have never come true!
~To my kids (Maggie, Brady and Brittany) and my grandkids thank you for your love, understanding and sacrifice of me having to miss out on so many things to be able to help other families!
~To all of my Caring Kids Families, I couldn't have done this without your trust and support in having your children in my home. I will forever be grateful, honored and blessed that you chose me! Remember I am only a text or call away...I will always be one of your family's biggest cheerleaders!

This cutie got to try out Kindergarten, for a few days, at Kinder Camp. She was a rockstar getting on the bus for the first time and loved Kinder Camp! She is ready to be a big kindergartener! ❤️❤️❤️

We ended July with a super fun Foam Day for Science week!

July was filled with so much fun! Camping week with Tent Day, Picnic Lunch, Homemade Binoculars and a visit from 2 of Ms. Carroll’s grandkids.
