The Forest gets it's Little House! I am super excited to announce that I have been awarded a micro grant from the VELA foundation for my Project-Based learning program for elementary age children! Part of the grant pays for the use of a cabin on site - so we can expand into this sweet cosy space, built by Gary Miller, with room for more learners! This unique program is suitable for both home schoolers and those attending public school. The approach is child-led and joyfully project based!
For the Fall Season I am holding classes on Wednesdays 1:45 - 5pm starting on September 9th. Enrollment is per season, and you can sign up at any time.

I have been using my hand dyed playsilks at Forest School since day one. A Waldorf inspired staple. The perfect loose part: a tablecloth, a flag, the sky, a kite, a bed, a quilt, even a puppet. And who could resist an invitation to dress up… adorable, colorful superheros to the rescue!
