Happy Tuesday!

The Fresno State's Food Science and Nutrition Department invites you to support their new program, Bulldogs in the Grocery Store!

Bulldogs in the Grocery Store has been founded by Fresno State Nutrition and Dietetics program in the Food Science and Nutrition Department, with the goal of increasing the awareness of the importance of eating fruits and vegetables in all forms ranging from fresh, to frozen, to canned and dried. This innovative and exciting program is designed to provide all Fresno State students and community members with an opportunity to participate in a guided tour around the grocery store. The tours are guided by trained nutrition and dietetic students and not only allow the students to share their knowledge, but improve the overall awareness on the importance of nutrition.

There is so much to gain from a grocery store tour! Free take home educational materials, coupons, budgeting tips, and food samples will be provided to all participants. Make sure you take advantage of this great opportunity and sign up today! You do not have to be a student and fell free to spread the word about our program with friends, family, co-worker and anyone else who may be interested!

Tours will take place during the months of March, April and May 2016.
