Skies of Dreams EAA 376 Youth Build

The Skies of Dreams has made huge progress in building our airplane, here’s what we have done for the past weeks! ✈️

We had a fantastic build session yesterday with the help of Hangar Helpers who learned to deburr, cleco, and rivet yesterday!

Thank you to the Hangar Helpers Committee for your organizational skills, planning the day in advance, and welcoming all the new students!

Also, thank you to the Safety Committee, who briefed the hangar helpers on key safety items and the importance of PPE!

🚨 February Fundraising Goal: $19,000 to Secure the Powerplant Kit! 🚨

Team, we are so close to keeping this build on schedule! Thanks to incredible support from you and our community, we have successfully:

✅Secured the Fastener Kit (donated by AircraftDonation.org)
✅Secured the Tail/Empennage Kit (donated by AircraftDonation.org)
✅Secured the Wing Kit (donated by AircraftDonation.org)
✅Fundraised for the Fuselage Kit (deposit & balance)
✅Fundraised for the Finishing Kit (deposit)

Now we need to lock in the Powerplant Kit by the end of February.
→ This includes the Rotax 912 iS Sport engine and Sensenich propeller — the heart that will make our RV-12 come alive.

We’re aiming to raise $19,000 this month to put down the deposit and stay on track for the kids to continue building without delays.
Every dollar counts.

Your support is what’s getting these teenagers from “never held a rivet gun” to “I built and flew my own airplane.”
